A HEARTY THANKS to Chef Shain again for joining me in #pallavegan-izing this amazing recipe! Beats the pants off of Bush's ....plus Shain's dog is cuter :) Rhubarb Baked Beans Ingredients: 4-5 slices of tempeh chopped (add more if desired) 1 cup finely diced onion 1 1/2 cups finely diced rhubarb 1 tsp grated fresh ginger 1 tsp salt 1/4 cup of dijon mustard 1/2 cup light brown sugar (packed) 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar 1 cup ketchup 2 - 14 ounce cans, drained and rinsed Cannellini Beans coconut oil for cooking Food for Thought: I recently started reading Tim Ferriss' The 4-Hour Workweek...all I can say is, if you haven't been exposed to this book or way of life yet...RUN, don't walk! Just a little overview teaser, he basically encourages you to take control of your career and livelihood and practice "LifeStyle Design" ...which is where you basically do less, more effectively, make more money, and have more fun. Sounds easier said than done...but think about your response to this question and maybe it'll drive you to pick up the book: "How would your priorities and decisions change if you could NEVER retire?" --Tim Ferriss; The 4-Hour Workweek Summer is a great time to launch your new ideas and projects. Its warm, endorphins are up, a time when many are relaxing and open to new stimuli....NOW is your time!!! Remember...as Marie Forleo says its better to "start small and sucky" then to obsess over perfection. We wanna SEE your Growth! So put your stuff out there and feel free to send stuff my way! I LOVE to support in any way I can! |
