Nike has basically been saying this for years...but it doesn't just apply to being physically active, which is important, don't get me wrong...
but we spend a lot of time thinking which really means, DOUBTING, and then by the time we actually DO, we spend too much time doubting our potential because we spent too much time...thinking...are you exhausted, yet? Good...now when your gut tells you to do something, DO IT...whatever it is! Because then, time is on your side rather than against you. I decided in 2012 that regret was a waste of time, just being aware of that, has really sprung me into ACTION in many aspects of my life wether it be, go after a breakdown that's right for me, finding a new manager, or gathering up the courage to quit my restaurant job and take on my acting career full time! YUP! I did it! I didn't spend too much time thinking about it, I did it, and now things are falling into place...because the universe is on your side, there is a reason why IMPULSE happens, its meant to be followed and listened to! you're a reasonable, logical person, yes, but risk is necessary and isn't that why we all became actors in the first place? RISK is what we live for, what we thrive on SO LISTEN TO IMPULSE! This month my actor page on Facebook reached over 200 likes! Which i am so thankful for!!! Thank you thank you thank you for your support and belief. It's what keeps me going! My next social media goal is 200 followers on Twitter...so help a sista out! @PallaviSassstry ok, recipe time ;-) going back to roots on this one Roasted Jalapeno & Garlic PLUS Cilantro-Lime Hummus the name explains it all. It's 2 of my most popular hummus flavors all in one...double whammy...double delicious! Ingredients: 4 jalapeno peppers 5 cloves garlic 1/4 cup olive oil 1/2 bunch of cilantro and de-stem juice of 2 limes 2 cans of organic garbanzo beans salt and pepper to taste --cut jalapenos in half down the middle and de-seed (unless you like it super spicy then leave a couple with the seeds and membrane) --roast jalapenos and garlic with a light drizzle of olive oil under the broiler on LOW for about 15 min...or until the skin on the peppers has charred enough to peel off --remove peppers and garlic from oven, and peel the skins off the peppers --throw all ingredients except salt and pepper in your blender/food processer and puree until smooth, adding a bit of cold water to help the consistency. --when you reach your desired consistency, add salt and pepper to taste. ENJOY!!!!! Makes about 24 oz of hummus Have a Fantastic February! kiss someone extra har |
